Ingredients:
Kusum Red Chilli Powder
Kusum Turmeric Powder
Salt
10 minutes soaked Rice – 1 ½ bowl (medium)
20 minutes soaked Moong, Toor, Chana Dal – 1 bowl each (small)
Jeera – 1 tbsp
Kashmiri Red Chillies – 1
Garlic – 1 bowl (small)
Onions – 1 bowl (medium)
Tomatoes -1 bowl (medium)
Mustard Seeds
Method:
Add salt to boiling water and add soaked rice. Boil the rice until they are cooked and strain the excess water. Heat ghee in a pan and add soaked moong, toor and chana dal. Add 4 cups of water, 1 tbsp Kusum Turmeric Powder and salt to taste. Next, heat oil in a pan, add jeera, kashmiri red chilli, chopped garlic, onions, tomatoes, and saute. Add 1 tbsp of Kusum Turmeric Powder, 1 tbsp of Kusum Red Chilli Masala Powder, salt to taste, saute and mix the cooked dal. Bring the dal to a boil and mix cooked rice and combine the mixture. Serve hot and give a tadka of oil, mustard seeds, garlic & dry red chillies.
